RENO QRP GROUP SLOW SPEED CW QRP NET REPORT

Hi all;

The log of our last slow speed NET on Oct. 30, 2025 is attached.

The NET was held from Hidden Valley Park Reno. The weather was sunny calm a very nice Fall day for the field.

The NET started at 10:00 AM on time at 7.045 MHZ. The noise level was about S3 today SFI 118 A index 20 K index 5 Xray B9.0. Not good conditions.

There were 4 QNI today Van W7IEX I/O, Craig AE7I, Jim AE7AX, and I am including DudleyW7ATY.

Craig  he was operating portable in his truck on Juniper in Reno not far from  home. He was using his ole standby KX2 at ten watts into an inverted Vee  apex up 20 ft Graig reported the weather sunny and calm.

Next  was Jim from Ivins, UT this is the first time Jim has QNI the NET. His  RST at 599 he was using his IC 7300 at 50 watts into a dipole he gave me  a report of 559.

I  am including Dudley because he called but I didn’t hear him. He copied  me but too much QRM on his end. This is the first time Dudley had QNI  the NET. Dudley lives in Fernely, NV there is a lot of mountain between  us it is good to know that he could copy me.

The next NET will be November 13, 2025.

Starting at 11:00 AM. On 7.045 MHZ.

BE SURE TO REMENDER THE STARTING IS NOW AT 11:00 AM

IT WILL REMAIN THAT WAY FOR SIX MONTHS.
